NMN-A bright future of anti-aging


 

Prof.Shinichiro Imai of Washington University is one of the highest authorities in anti-aging research. He is the first one who discovered the impressive effect of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) to increase lifespan. 

NMN is regarded as the most likely substance to control aging nowadays. The experiment of mice with diabetes notarizes the effect of NMN. Patients with diabetes usually have obesity, and diabetes is caused by the aging and decline of pancreas functions.

After intake of a week of NMN, blood glucose value is compared the value before intake. With the intake of NMN, the growing blood glucose value is controlled into normal, the disease is improved. Prof. Shinichiro Imai observed that NMN recovered the aging pancreas.

Aging is unstoppable for creatures. However, this common sense is subverted by the improvement of computer science. Gene reading ability has raised one million times in 20 years. Analysis of human genome reaches a breakthrough. It means the genome which controls aging is discovered. Prof. Shinichiro Imai’s team finds it is Sirtuin genome which has seven kinds.(Imai, 2014) But this genome doesn't work well normally. It usually gets into a sleeping state. If the function of the genome is activated, the mitochondrion which produce energy of cells will be activated. So how can activate Sirtuin genome?

 

Research of Sirtuin genome is one of the hot spots of aging research. Actually, NMN originally exists in creatures, which are similar with vitamins, but NMN decreases with age increasing. Artificial NMN increasing needs to be able to restrain old organs and recover them. Supplement of NMN is able to play a big role when our bodies are losing functions. 

 

In addition, NMN also has effects on Alzheimer’s disease(Long, 2015), Alzheimer’s disease is often caused by aging brain cells, and it is also related to the decrease of nerve cell. If take an early opportunity to take NMN, the morbidity could be reduced. NMN has shown positive results in mice experiment. Now the clinical test is in process. 

 

NMN is likely to have effects of rejuvenation. Prof. David Sinclair(North, 2014) discovered this effect of NMN. In the experiment of mice, he made the rejuvenation of cells. After intake of NMN for a month, 22 months old mice which equal to 60 years old human, have reached the 6 months old states which equal to 20 years old human. The standard of ages is activity degrees of cells, 22 months old mice are in the same level with 6 months old mice. 

 

So how can NMN achieve rejuvenation? It is discovered hypothalamus is able to send strong instructions to stop aging of all organizations, but the instruction reduces with ages. NMN is able to stimulate the hypothalamus which likely to send instructions to the whole body again.

NMN is essential material for rejuvenation. NMN is possibly to make people who are greater than 100 years old enjoy the pleasure of extreme sports, party and love. There is some company which has independent technology to produce NMN. The bright future is coming.
