Mesembrine

Mesembrine is an alkaloid which is derived from the Sceletium Tortuosum plant and is now being acknowledged as a key active component in the ability of the plant to produce beneficial effects for traditional applications about toothache, abdominal pain, and for hunger relief.

With the new development of modern scientific research, Mesembrine it has been used in multiple settings, including depression and anxiety management and was recently shown to elevate mood in a human clinical trial.

Benefits of intake mesembrine

Nootropic Effect

Analgesic Properties

Provides mood health

Prevents depression and anxiety

Mesembrine can slows down the re-uptake process, making it more probable there will be more serotonin in the relevant receptors, greatly increasing the possibility that there will be sufficient levels to set up the signal transfer in all neighboring neurons. It allows the brain to function with reduced levels of serotonin, allowing time for natural levels to build up, which means mesembrine has antidepressant-like activity

As ascribed to the key active alkaloids contained in the Sceletium Tortuosum, mesembrine may also exhibits some promising anti-anxiety effects. With the activity at δ2- and u-opioid receptors, mesembrine also appears to have analgesic properties without abuse liabilities or ataxia, which suggest that mesemebrine may be a useful analgesic.

In summary, mesembrine have the potential to become a new safe and effective remedial choice to elevate mood, reduce anxiety and stress and alleviate pain. It can help you feel a little sharper for that exam, or keep you focused while pushing out those last few reps.
